Cheshire Peaks & Plains Housing Trust host Career Academy students

This May students from All Hallows Catholic College, Tytherington High School and Cheadle & Marple Sixth Form College attended a recruitment and selection event at Cheshire Peaks & Plains Housing Trust in Macclesfield.
Chief Executive, Tim Pinder opened each event by giving an overview of the organisation and shared their recruitment principles. The programme included a brief icebreaker session, presentations by two colleagues from the HR team Stephanie and Maria on person specifications, tips on CV and covering letter writing as well as a mock interview workshop demonstrating the wrong and right way to behave in an interview.
The events were very well received by the students who enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot which will go a long way to helping them with their applications and interviews for their summer internships.
