Career Academy student's success story

Kasam Bytyqi graduated from the Career Academy programme in April 2010 and has now completed his studies at Queens Park Community School in London. His Partner in Business was Catherine Joseph from BT and he completed his summer internship at LIFE Residential.
Kasam will spend the summer working at Merrill Lynch for three months in the Client Management division. Kasam found out about this opportunity through a contact he made earlier in the year while taking part in the Career Academy programme.
He feels that his experience on the Career Academy programme helped him to secure this role as it developed his confidence, interpersonal and time management skills; skills which impressed the team at Merrill Lynch and which they commented on following his interview.
Kasam's future plans are to progress to university to study Accounting and Finance and then pursue a career in investment banking either in the UK or elsewhere. He also plans to keep in touch with the contacts he has met through the Career Acadmy programme to see what other oppotunities come his way.
