How a Career Academy supporter is benefitting two charities at once

Katharine House Hospice near Banbury are hosting an intern funded by Norbar, a local engineering company. Norbar are firm supporters of the Career Academy at North Oxfordshire Academy and Katharine House is one of their chosen charities.
Due to staffing issues Norbar were disappointed not to be in a position to host any interns this year having successfully taken two from North Oxfordshire last year. So when they heard that Katharine House were keen to take an intern they agreed to pay the salary.
"Sophie has made a real contribution in her time at the Hospice and it has been genuinely beneficial. We are delighted to have been able to work with North Oxfordshire Academy,Career Academies UK and Norbar in this way" - Elizabeth Wheeldon, Business Director of Katharine House Hospice.
