Archers Court Business Launch

On 15 October 2009, Archers Court Maths and Computing College in Dover held a launch in the Town Hall for the local business community to promote involvement with their Career Academy. The first cohort of students attended to start building their network of contacts. The Chair of the Local Advisory Board, Tim Stewart, from P & O Ferries, welcomed all of the attendees and there were many offers of support during the event.
Following the business launch, the school's annual prize giving was held and Hilary Mercer, Career Academy Coordinator, was presented with the award for Teacher of the Year in recognition of her effort in launching the Career Academy at Archers Court.
