Group of Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College Career Academy students attend “Inspire to Success” event

A group of first year Career Academy students attended the informative, memorable and enjoyable "Inspire to Success" event on Thursday 21 January at Leeds Metropolitan University. The event was organised by ABDN (The Asian Business Network) - a large ethnic minority network with over 1,000 members, with support from Business Link.
Four guest speakers: Deirdre Bounds, Anna Rayner, Amar Latif and Saeeda Ahmed, talked about their experiences of setting up and running successful businesses, two of which were international. In addition to speakers, there was a small business support provider exhibition, networking session and lunch.
We look forward to being invited to other ABDN events in the future.
