Emily Smith (Yorkshire and Humber)Previous to Career Academies UK, Emily spent 11 years at BNY Mellon where her responsibilities included Operations Manager looking after staff development and special projects. It was here that she was first introduced to Career Academies UK as an employee supporter and later taking up the role of LAB Chair for St John Fisher RC High School in Dewsbury where she is an ex-pupil. Emily is currently on maternity leave.

Kevin Oliver (Yorkshire and Humber)Kevin has over 30 years experience in secondary education, including ten years in senior management as a curriculum deputy and headteacher of a Business and Enterprise College. He has also managed business education links and careers information and work related learning projects within a local authority. Sue Long (Midlands)Sue is experienced in bid writing, contract management, project management and employer engagement, having worked for the Training and Enterprise Council, Business Link and in business development in the FE sector. With seven years as Director of Business and Enterprise at a secondary school, Sue is also a Consortium Coordinator for two 14-19 partnerships and a local area board member for Young Enterprise. Sue is currently working for Career Academies UK as a Consultant Regional Manager.

Prior to her appointment at Career Academies UK, Nicola managed large scale funding provisions within the Welfare to Work sector, including Future Jobs Fund in Greater Manchester and Flexible New Deal in London. Anne Wexelstein (Scotland)Anne brings over 20 years of experience gained in the corporate, public and third sectors. In her UK and internationally focused leadership role at Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager, she developed a deep interest in leadership, coaching and organisational development. She has also worked as a Programme and Business Development Director at a Scottish Charity and Social Enterprise that worked closed with educationalists, social services and community development. Ian Nichol (North West)Ian spent the last two years as the North West Lead Consultant for an education charity, the Personal Finance Education Group, working with teachers to develop childrens' money management skills. Prior to this he spent over 25 years working in further and higher education holding management responsibilities for human resources, staff development, curriculum and business development.
